newsletters, letters, press releases, homepages and web sites. The glossary
portion will help you determine correct usage, distinctive spelling, and word
preferences. You can receive a free copy of this guide by calling the AAUW

If you need material for your newsletters, either to fill some space, or to
inform your members, feel free to copy and paste anything you see on
Virginia's online site.
If you are a publishing whiz, but a bit new to the
world of cyberspace, all you need to do is use you mouse to highlight the text
you want to copy. Go to your "EDIT" menu and select
"COPY" and then paste it into a program such as to Notepad, Wordpad, your regular word

a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in
this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual
