     30               KALEIDOSCOPE, 5:30 pm, at the Mason District

Governmental Center, Annandale.  This is an informal

multicultural civic group that meets monthly to discuss

diverse communities.

 


                       

MAY 2008         

                  

        7              BRIDGE meets at 10 am at Carol Flood’s, in

Sprinfield.  Hostess is Marianne Worrell. 

Bring a light lunch.  Dessert will be served

by the hostess.

 

        8              MORNING LITERATURE,  9:30 am, with 

                        Mary Ann Murphy in Woodbridge.  Terry Graham

                        will review A Thousand Splendid Sons by Khaled

Hosseini.

 

       8               EVENING LITERATIRE,  7:30 pm, with :Lou Mosier,

                        Burke.  Ercell Binns will review Ruth, A Portrait;

The Story of Ruth Bell Graham by Patricial Cornwall.

 

     15               AAUW FEDERAL LOBBY DAY, 9:30 am, on Capitol Hill.

 

     15               GENERAL MEETING – at 7 pm at the library of Lake

Braddock High School, 9002 Burke Lake Road, Burke,

VA  22015.  Guest speaker is Pam Collins, State Leader-

to-Leader spokesperson for AAUW of Virginia.  Installation

of branch officers will also take place.
