Meetings

Meetings are held months from September to May.

The Hampton Branch celebrated its golden anniversary on Saturday, January 23, 1999. A luncheon program at the Officer's Club on Langley Air Force Base marked the event.

As part of the celebration, three Hampton Branch members were presented certificates in honor of fifty years of loyal membership and dedication to AAUW. They were Marge Hannah, Dorothy Pride, and Mary Ellen Taback.

In recognition of AAUW's commitment to women, and the Hampton Branch's continued commitment to education and self development for women and girls, the City of Hampton proclaimed Sunday, January 24, 1999, as American Association of University Women-Hampton Branch Day.
